Web Designer (placement student)

SugarProjects Graphic & Web creative agency is based in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. Established in 2013, we design and manage print, web and social media projects for companies throughout the UK and Ireland.
We are looking for a placement student to assist in designing websites for our new and existing clients. The ideal applicant will need to:
- create wireframes and website designs
- produce sample sites
- demonstrate and receive feedback about draft sites
- digital retouch and edit images
- create projects that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
As a web designer you will need:
- creative skills to turn clients ideas into viable plans
- a good appreciation of design, usability and interactivity
- ability to work to deadlines
- attention to detail
- good communication skills
- excellent IT skills
- an understanding of web development skills
- experience of using programmes such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe XD
- basic knowledge of CSS and HTML desirable
Candidates studying design related courses such as; web design, computer science, multi-media design, etc. are preferred. A full driving licence is also desirable.
