Tour of Fermanagh is a community-based cycling event that seeks to promote local sports along with fundraising for charity. All levels of competencies are encouraged to participate in the event, from newcomers to experienced cyclists. The event consists of two cycle routes, the 60km leisure for beginner cyclists and the 120km sportive that is set for experienced and professional road cyclists.
We were approached by the team at Tour of Fermanagh to create and manage a week long social media campaign for their Facebook page. They wanted a campaign to help raise the awareness of the event, increase online registration and promote their early bird discount.
The Tour of Fermanagh campaign began on 24th May 2018 and finished on the 31st May 2018. To run alongside their campaign, we created a range of bespoke graphics that corresponded with their brands identity. Overall the campaign included a registration and early bird countdown, promotion of sponsorships and information on the different cycle routes. As part of the campaign, we boosted a video of the event last year, targeting the following demographic; 18-55 year olds, interested in cycling or part of a cycling club and located across Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland.
